1949 RCA Victor 45 rpm Records In All 7 Original Colors. One each of series 47 black pop, 48 green country, 49 deep red classical, 50 cerise blues, 51 light blue foreign, 52 deep blue broadway and 47 yellow childrens. See pics for suggested display. Pictures are typical, frame not included. Each record comes in a 1949 Victor sleeve. Disk condition is VG- or better. Labels and sleeves are VG and better. The 47 black vinyl series with the dull green label is common, the 49 deep red vinyl, the 52 deep blue and the 47 yellow can still be found occasionally, the 48 green and 51 light blue have become scarce, the 50 series cerise (cherry) are very rare and sell for 30 to 800 dollars.

None of the rarest or first 50-0000 Arthur Crudup, 47-0146 Peewee the Piccolo, 51-0000 Meizels, 52-0000 Goodman, 49-0100 Boston Pops, 48-0001 Eddy Arnold, are included in this set. RCA began most series with 0000 but 48-0000 has never appeared and may have been pulled for a legal problem.
